How do I add a wireless connection for Dell Inspiron 1440 after upgrading to Windows 7?

I upgrade my Dell Inspiron 1440 and Windows Vista and Windows 7 when I try to view my network wireless communications in response to University available but not connected. I have cable but not wireless. Please help.
